STRUCTURE
In most cases the Design Direction service entails arriving at a choice of finishes and colours, coordinating fabrics for drapery, bedding and soft furnishing, sourcing furniture and accessories or lighting, and scheduling trades to install or perform the work, but does not involve space planning or design drawings.

Once the scope of work is understood and the design requirements established Veronica may assemble finish samples, book to-the-trade-only showroom sit-tests, prepare quotes for manufacure and installation, coordinate trades to visit for accurate measurements and estimates, and check timelines and availability of products.

Phone and email is the preferred manner of communication, with in-person meetings arranged at the client's discretion and availability. The idea is to involve the clients where necessary for approval but to keep their exposure to the details, tasks, and chores of the implementation to a minimum.
